GERAI PAK ABBAS MAJU

Assalamualaikum. So this is the third Street Food Stalls that we choose right after we finished at Gerai Mak Siti Putatan. Even though, we were so full we still want to try out this food. We have the same taste of food which we like more of local dish. We're not the kind that stick one type of dining place. We like food so much so we like to change places to eat and try out new menus.

Okayy this is the place that we choose to eat. GERAI PAK ABBAS MAJU. Its originally from sandakan. So their specialty in the cuisine of Sandakan. It has different taste and originality that different from Kota Kinabalu type of dish. They are open every day at 5pm-11pm.

Anizam's showing the menu book.

He's ordering Coto Makasar with Meehoon Only RM 5. Anizam likes his Coto Makasar Meehoon and he said that the soup was thick and has the originality taste of Coto Makasar.

Nurul Atiqah also ordered Coto Makasar but with nasi himpit. Also Rm 5. She said the soup was good but not with the nasi himpit.

Nur Syafekah with her Rojak Ayam. Also RM 5. She said it was delicious and the kuah kacang also taste good. This is RECOMMENDED dish from us.

So, overall the taste is good and everything was worth also.We paid RM 15  for all. The warm water is free, Pak Abbas said its ' air kerajaan' haahha. The service also very veeryyyy good. They were always smile and so nice making a jokes while we're taking photos. Pak Abbas contact number is 0109459983.

This is the location of GERAI PAK ABBAS MAJU. Very easy to find and also there a lot of parking spaces. Its just in front of Pizza Hut. There is a lot Street Food stalls around there. The atmosphere was nice because its an open space. The air blows feels great. If rains they will open another tent for their customer. The place we choose was clean, we could see their kitchen was clean and organized. And most important is the food is HALAL made by Muslims. So we this time we rate 9/10. TIPS from us, do come after 7pm because its not hot during night and there is a lot of parking space. RECOMMENDED for those who likes to spend time with friend while eating Rojak and Coto Makassar. Next time we will try out Pak Abbas Nasi Ayam Penyet. See you soon. Thanks for reading this. Sorry for our bad English. hheheh :)

GERAI MAK SITI KG SRI PANDAN PUTATAN

Assalamualaikum and hellooo foodies out there, this is the second street food stall that we choose to eat which is GERAI MAK SITI KG SRI PANDAN.

This is the front view of Anizam Azni at Gerai Mak Siti

Here in Gerai Mak Siti, the style is self service which means we have to order at the counter like Nur Syafekah did. She give her name and we wait her name being called and in just less than 5 minutes the food was ready.

This is the view at the front counter where we place our order and we take our food once our name being called.

So, here the full menu of Gerai Mak Siti. We ordered two ABC Regular, two Soto Ayam and Daging, and two Burger Ayam and Daging Cheese. Anizam just 'tapau' Burger Ayam Cheese + Telur while waiting he's latte. The overall price of our food  and drinks is just RM21.50.

Gerai Mak Siti Putatan in Newspaper Harian Metro

Mak Siti (owner) said that she used to sell RM 0.50 of her Soto back in 90's. The beggining of the story was there's one time a boy asked her to buy her soto for 50 cent which is all he had. So, Mak Siti said that his motherly instinct would not allow her to leave a child hungry. Since then she sell her Soto for 50 cent and then she stopped working for a year to look out for her sick husband. After she reopened her business again recently it became viral and huge impact to Sabahans in media social. She increased her soto to RM 1 because we all know that now raw stuff such as chicken and beef are expensive not like the in 90's price. Still, the soup is the cheapest in town. Also, she said that she want to help students and people who are disadvantaged financially.

So we conclude that eating at Gerai Mak Siti Putatan is very worth every penny spent here. The atmosphere was good and the workers was very nice to us. We rate this place 8/10 also because the place location might seemed confused to find if people who are not really familiar or used to this place. Also there's not much space to park the car since it was residential housing village and the road that only could fit two small cars.TIPS from us, if you are not familiar of this location, you should come at day time because at night the road was dark not so much of street lamp. Also, bring your friend who are familiar to this place. So, below here is the location maps of Gerai Mak Siti Putatan.10-15minutes if no traffic jam from Kota kinabalu International Airport (KKIA).

Hiiiii food lovers out there, two weeks ago we went to Sembulan at 7 after class to eat at street food stalls. Since this is the most popular place to eat in Kota Kinabalu especially in Sembulan. There is a lot delicious food and drinks to try out. Since we were so hungry because our class finished so late that we haven't eat any proper meal that day. So we agreed to eat at Sembulan. The most popular one is WARUNG MEE PANGSIT SEMBULAN. We decide to eat there and most of the time the seat would be full. You have to wait until there's a seat available. At that time the seat was full, we decide to wait but we can order first then they will served the food once we seated. Based on our experienced, the place might be not so clean the garbage is just behind us. But so far, its ok. We still could clean the utensils with tissues right?. The most important thing is THE FOOD.

Here is Anizam Azni standing infront of the stall.

The uncle that they call 'Mas' mixing the noodles.

Anizam still ordering, because hes adding one more of mee pangsit.

Nur Syafekah eat the most popular dish which is MEE PANGSIT. She ordered mee pangsit special with no chicken feet. Look how happy she is hahhaha

This is the closer look on mee pangsit special. Its just RM 5. Normal mee pangsit cost about RM 4 and mee pangsit special with chicken feet or extra meat ball costs about RM 5. We surely recommended this dish. The owner will mix the noodles with his special sauce and soup was so good also they have 'Ayam Masak Kicap' in the soup. Then we mix it with the condiments.  It taste so goooddd sooo yummmyyy.. It makes you craving every single day after you try.

This is Nurul Atiqah, she's eating Bakso which is her all time favorite dish. The Bakso cost RM 4 only. There are 5 meatballs, the owner said they made themselves the meatballs every day and never buy meatballs at any supermarket. We think that its more delicious than the one sell in supermarket.

Here is the background story of the WARUNG MEE PANGSIT. It is originally from Indonesia and the workers were from Indonesia also. So basically their food were Indonesian style and taste.  They open every day from 5pm until 9pm.

This is the map location of the Warung Mee Pangsit. Its just behind Aseana College

Overall, we rate this place 8/10. The missing two points because of the cleanliness. We recommend anyone to try the food. For sure you will not disappoint. The taste was great and its value the price. Tips from us, make sure to eat there cause if you just takeaway the might not be the same and lacking some taste. That's all from us Thank You for reading this muahhhh
